PS: you'll have the last word, go on... =) Ok...but I doubt it :) You probably know well, that popularity does not imply correctness; especially on the internet. "rhetorical trick" is an oxymoron. Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error. "Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority". In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.	[reply]

Lighting is a tool used to be able to see things more clearly. So "trick of the light" is an oxymoron. And pay no attention to: "2) Meaningless language with an exaggerated style intended to impress" or "1) (in writing or speech) the undue use of exaggeration or display; bombast".	[reply]
