It sure would sure be nice if we Perl guys could write in POD. For instance, I wrote up Damian Conway's ten rules for when to use OO in POD originally, and then had to run it thru pod2html. It woulda been much easier for me to be able to simply write like this:

=item 2 When data is aggregated into obvious structures, especially if

For instance, an IP address is not a good candidate: There's only
4 bytes of information related to an IP address.  An immigrant going
through customs has a lot of data related to him, such as name, countr

of origin,  luggage carried, destination, etc.
