Trades: Full-time vicar at Christchurch Priory and free-lance programmer for fun but just getting back into the swing developing a parish information system for Winxx/MacOS-X/Linux running on O/S and browser thus needing to learn Gtk+ versus straight Tk. Last two software engineering posts (Raytheon and secondment with Lockheed-Martin) in reverse chron order: Tcl/Tk (Win32 platform) and Perl/Tk (Solaris/Irix) desktop apps. The latter was a roll-my-own multi-platform IDE for my development team integrated with in-house CMS. I wrote my first 'home page' on company Intranet using Perl CGI in 1996. Those were the days. Yes, of course I use Padre as my IDE!
