While you can use numbers and they are unambiguous it is easier to use the node name.

For example to link to your home node I type [princepawn] to get this link: princepawn

If I want to use a different name I use a | char after the real name, thus [princepawn|some dude] gives this link: some dude

The only problem with names is namespace conflicts. In this case PM throws up the nodes with the same nemes like this link links.

If a node with the name you specify does not exist PM displays search results based on that. Very neat really.

    Except that the author might have intended an exact match but made a typo or mistake. It would be neet if the preview window showed such links in a different color, so he'd be aware of it (no change to final view, just preview).
