Installing Perl Modules on Windows Server 2008 64-Bit

cherryperl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi,

I am Trying to install perl modules on a windows server 2008 machine. The main problem is that it is not connected to internet and i am trying hard and fail with the following error.

Error installing package '.\Net-SNMP-v6.0.1.ppmx': Could not locate a PPD file for package .\Net-SNMP-v6.0.1.ppmx

Please Help!!

I did download the PPMX files from ActiveState CPAN repo ... however I still get the same error.!! Please Help	[reply]

Do you have ActivePerl, and which version? If you have ActivePerl, upgrade and/or report a bug to ActiveState If you don't have ActivePerl, unpack(untar or unzip) Net-SNMP-v6.0.1.ppmx until you get a .ppd file Read How do I post a question effectively? Read I know what I mean. Why don't you?	[reply]
