isync has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to get a combination of ListView and TreeCtrl, so I can effectively have a view which combines a sense of hierarchy with a tabbed presentation of data.

If you are familiar with GNOME's Nautilus you know what I mean, the way it handles directories. If you check Nautilus' source-code you can see that it combines a GTK TreeView with a a ListView - but I don't know enough about C to figure out how it is done.

So, can someone answer me if it is possible to nest a TreeCtrl inside a ListView's ListItem? And if so, how it would be done.

    Got screenshot?

    Wx::Demo looks interesting, particularly

    wxperl_demo --show wxTreeListCtrl

    wxperl_demo --show wxTreeCtrl

      For example this screenshot illustrates Nautilus' combination of a Tree- and a List- Ctrl. Vanilla Wx doesn't provide this to my knowledge, thus nothing to be found in Wx::Demo, right? *Really* reading your reply again: TreeListCtrl!!
