PD: Please tell me if pointer to RTFM is not a proper way to use perlmonnks ... I supersearched it and appears many entries, so I think it is ok ...

      They will encapsulate data, that is, they will associate keys with a value, $word with a $count

      and what the foreach is intended for

      foreach is just like for, it is a loop, it is intended for iterating, in this case over a list of keys

      You use "keys in a hash" in the title, you use two hashes, you use a loop , you recognize i5513 uses two hashes, where is the disconnect?
