Re: Conway's Extreme Perl talk

He mentioned this talk in Chicago, and I think he said the code itself at least should be online sometime after The Perl Conference. He didn't want to go into it with us before then, presumably to create maximum impact.

The program in question is named "selfGOL". That much, and a brief description of what it does, are in the conference documentation. I'd recommend (re-)reading Appendix A ("Hacker Folklore") in the Jargon File before going, if you haven't read it recently.
