Right now, there are two questions (already with replies) in Seekers of the Perl Wisdom that don't show up in the front page. I have also seen it happen with other questions. I thought new things automatically showed up in the front page. Is this not true? How does it work? Just curious.

Thanks,
--Diego

I can approve them for either the frontpage, the section page or both, sometimes it's a quality thing, if a post is particularly long, I generally don't put it on the frontpage out of space concerns. In the future we'll probably add some Read more.. functionality so that isn't an issue.

An editor has to approve them. Sometimes vroom will go in and put <code> tags around a poorly formatted bit of code, and then approve it.

That link in the original post does not work because it should be "Seekers of Perl Wisdom" not "Seekers of the Perl Wisdom" (4 words, not five)

I've been wondering the same thing... I think maybe that point needs to be added to the procedures section.
