perl monks, I am using perl 5.6.1 on Solaris 7 (sparc ultra 10). I have a problem reading from /var/adm/su as a named pipe. It has something to do with the way su is writing because it works when I manually write to it. It seems to write two null entries. However, I don't get the data that I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joe
