Accessing Shared network drive folder

vishalkbhatt has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all, I have to save an image file on a shared drive folder over the network. My script works if the drive folder is not password protected. But in reality this shared drive folder is password protected. The shared drive is on a linux apache server and my PC runs on Win Xp. So pls tell me how to include the password in my script. The following line of code shows how I save the file

$image->SaveToFile("//192.168.0.24/library/vishal/$uname.png");

So pls tell me how to include the password in my script I imagine you would use one of Win32::NetResource/Win32API::Net Or map network drive with password	[reply]

I have to access the drive which is connected thru network (LAN) and not the internet. So how to write the password code for it ??	[reply]

It looks like you could also use Win32::FileOp#Connect/Disconnect without mapping to a drive	[reply]

I have to access the drive which is connected thru network (LAN) and not the internet. So how to write the password code for it ?? internet or lan, network is network, so see the links I mentioned, and try some stuff	[reply]
