        Translation: don't run this. While said in jest, I have had to recover from people trying things that they didn't know what it actually does. While it could be said that if you run something without knowing what it does, you deserve what you get, so this is just an explicit explanation of what it does.

        It walks the process tree of a unix system sending a HUP signal to each. This may or may not do something bad to your system - it depends on the software that is running and how it handles the HUP signal.
