Yes marto i agree with you. My task is to port Perl onto this version of NetBSD. The Perl version i am trying to port is 5.10.0 and following the steps describe in the first mail. I want to know whether i am correct or not?

    I'm not familiar with NetBSD package management, I suggest you read the documentation.
