I feel ya, man. I haven't been gone quite that long, but it's been a very long time for someone who was hanging out here almost every day just a few short years ago. I would tell you it's like riding a bicycle, but I never learned how to do that :)

Welcome back. Nowadays ("Modern") Perl, or at least the most vocal members of its "community," are less concerned with getting the job done than with style nits. It's still a great language if you ignore the BS, but there's a lot more BS to ignore. | [reply] |
