See Re^3: Perl/Tk Issues - Tk is available at the bribes repository. However, it is usually easier to use the GUI version of ppm. Type just "ppm" with no args at the command line. The standard repositories are already known to ppm, but you have to enable them. Look in the Edit\|Preferences dialog in the GUI version of PPM.	[reply]

The three Win32 repositories listed do not contain Tk, the base package. The Bribes repository is not listed for 5.14.2 version. Is it okay to include Bribes even though it is specified for 5.12 but not 5.14?	[reply]

No, it is not ok to install a ppm package marked for perl 5.12 on perl 5.14, it won't work. If you try to install it, ppm will refuse to install it. But `http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm/Tk.ppd` clearly shows one listed for 5.14, so what are you looking at, what did you do?	[reply] [d/l]

Hi apolonis Its customary to mark your updates, see How do I change/delete my post? You already said `cpan -i Tk` failed. This `Failed during this command: SREZIC/Tk-804.030.tar.gz : make NO` [download] while more characters, doesn't qualify as details. You can obtain details by Turn on debug/logging, increase verbosity... `cpan> o debug all` http://perldoc.perl.org/CPAN.html#Debugging Run `perl Makefile.PL make make test make install` [download] yourself `cpan> look Tk` copy/paste the first error messages, and show us	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Hi I added following link in my ppm repository "http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm" then it listed Tk module and installed successfully. regards, Prabhakaran.	[reply]

This works, but one condition. Wont work with 64 bit of ActivePerl. Install 32 bit ActivePerl on 32 bit or 64 bit windows. Then open cmd. Then change directory to "perl location\bin" then type "perl" then type "ppm install http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm/Tk.ppd"	[reply]
