saunderson has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear Monks,

i have discovered Tkx.pm for my needs, because i can't endure the outdated Tk.pm look any longer. Unfortunately just the code fragment

Tkx::package_require("style");

responsible for widget styling doesn't work and writes

can't find package style at tk.pl line xx.

to STDOUT.

Since Tkx.pm is only a thin wrapper for tcl, I'm sure that the specific tcl/tk module is missing. But i can't find a source for that. Further more i would prefer a pre-compiled *.deb package for debian squeeze.

But maybe i'm on the wrong path. I'm sure somebody of you Monks can help me to gain control over the misery!?

Thank you very much for your effort and may the power be with you

best regards

s.

      After a long time searching i found the missing module in the Debian package tklib.
