Perlbeginner1 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

good day dear monks

well i want to run a little script with www::mechanize::FireFox
but i have some terrible errors - well i guess that i did not succeed in the installation of the www:mechanize:fireFox




what do you say ...- this is the output

    Didn't you claim in your last thread (note you now have multiple threads on the same topic) to have installed your own Perl? If so you're executing the script with the system perl rather than the one you installed.

    It is hard for me to believe that zypper doesn’t have a WWW::Mechanize::Firefox package. Also, your distro should contain every information on how to set up your system (if it isn’t already) to deal with manual installations through CPAN or more modern interfaces such as cpanm. Also, I do not believe you should be creating new threads to ask more or less the same thing again.

    Complaints aside: yes, your assumptions that the installation of W:M:Ff wasn’t successful, are correct. It indeed wasn’t. Try again.

    How did you install the module? What were the results of the tests during installation?
