mascip has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I have recently installed Windows XP on my computer, and Strawberry Perl, as well as Comodo Antivirus (i am not advertising : i kind of took a random one, reading here and there that it's an OK one).
Everything works fine, but Comodo antivirus gets VERY annoying whenever i install a module : it asks me every 20 seconds if i'm OK for Build.PL, Makefile.PL, and most .t files to execute.
Also, every time i execute one of my programs it asks me if it's ok for it to execute.
What can i do about it?
I tried "trusting" all the files that are in the "strawberry" directory (containing perl, cpan, cpanm, etc), but it is not enough apparently : i still have the same problem.
Is there anything i can do on the "Perl side", or on the "Strawberry" side?
If the solution must be purely on the "Antivirus side", then i am sorry : this is not really a Perl question
Thanks in advance for any help though, as this is getting really annoying.
Have a good week-end :-)
