flat file that is in array of hash format

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello I have a flat file which contains information in array of hashes format. How do I read this in perl so I can then create appropriate excel files or create Pipe delimited flat files? The format is as follows:

        author={Ghufran,M. A. and Batool,A.},
        year={2010},
        title={indiginous knowledge of local flora},
        journal={Pakistan Journal of Botany},
        volume={42},
        number={SPEC. ISSUE},
        pages={309-317},
        note={Cited By (since 1996): 1},

}
}

Maybe try Text::BibTeX or LaTeX::BibTeX?	[reply]
