What happened? The Newest Nodes page used to be reasonably sized even when I didn't set my "I've read these" flag. Why is so big all the sudden in the past few days? Did I miss some decision that was made to change it's behavior or something?

    You might be interested in a recent set of suggestions here. Briefly, the New Notes section is growing too big, and should either be an optional part of the Newest Nodes page, or there should be an sql sub-select to remove New Notes that are redundent (parent-nodes are brand new and therefore appear previously in the Newest Nodes).

    I certainly understand if vroom simply doesn't have a spare round tuit; I would lend one of my own if I wasn't overdrawn already.
