This has happened to me a few times, and happened twice today! Sometimes the preview button doesn't do a preview like it's supposed to, but goes to some kind of search results. I totally lose the message contents I typed! That is not nice.

You can't use your browser's "Back" button to recover the text?

FYI, I've never seen this problem which makes me suspicious that it is at least partially a client problem.

It is. Some stupid browsers don't always cache the text in text boxes. I deleted NutScrape Navigator in a fit of fury after it blew away a post I spent an hour working on. Sourceforge has some nice browsers, ranging from the NutScrape look-alike Mozilla to some very spanky streamlined ones which are actually nice to browse with.

As for going to the wrong link, I have had problems where I select a link, and it took me to the right page, but badly mangled (no nodelets, weird colours, other strange stuff). I just assumed someone was updating the site at the time. I was using an old version of MSIE though.

No, I can't. "Back" will take me to that wrong page, too!
