LWP AND IO::SOCKET

majo has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Can LWP and IO::socket be used together? I need soem help in writing a code for latency meassurement thanks jone thanks for the help

LWP already uses IO::Socket::INET, which in turn uses IO::Socket. So yes, every time you use LWP::UserAgent, it is used together with IO::Socket. Perl 6 - the future is here, just unevenly distributed	[reply]

LWP is written using IO::Socket::INET, so LWP and IO::Socket are used together:).	[reply]
