I haven't checked for a while, but I don't think that installing the ppm package for Bundle::Gnome2 gets you any closer to installing Gnome2 on Windows.
Bundle::Gnome2 is a pure perl package that probably builds fine under ActiveState's automated ppm build process, but doesn't provide any of the guts that are needed to successfully install Gnome2 on Windows.

To the OP:
My sisyphusion ppm repo does provide Gtk2 Windows binaries.
Does that help ? Precisely which Gtk2 module is needed ?

I've been unable to get very far wrt Gnome2 because I couldn't get one of the pre-requisite C libraries to build. (Perhaps someone else has done better - it has probably been a year since I re-visited that particular problem.)

I typed `search gnome2` into an open ppm-shell session and in listed Bundle-Gnome2; I looked at cpan for that module and it listed `Gnome2::Canvas - Perl interface to the Gnome Canvas`; I offered it for reference to the OP> That's all :) With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday' Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error. Dear BrowserUk In windows os (With ActiveState Perl), If we install Bundle-Gnome2 module. It installs only Bundle-Gnome2 module not all of its required modules (which is Canvas etc..) I always install Gtk2 modules from http://www.sisyphusion.tk/ppmindex.html repository I think, it is not possible to bring Gnome Perl modules, Unless we bring Gnome Desktop environment to Windows. Which is very difficult because i dont know any project already running to port Gnome for Windows. (Like http://windows.kde.org/. Dear Anonymous Monk Have a look at Gtk2::DrawingArea module , Which is a simple Canvas. Dear syphilis This may be out of topic. Sorry for that. Perl Gtk3 binding is released already http://sourceforge.net/projects/gtk2-perl/files/Gtk3/, Do you have plan to bring it in your PPM Repo?
