Hi Sorry for being a bother. I read the information you suggested but having difficulty it starting off. As I mentioned earlier the perl script is to be on the server side and when client accesses a file to download it trigers the script to measure the download time, stores the data and also displays on the web page at the client end. Very much appreciated if you could provide any suggestion to help me start. Thank you once again.	[reply]
