ak.arjun has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all, I developed a small perl tk app, in which i added two entry boxes. When i ran this app on RHEL-5, i faced a issue that the first entry is not editable that is i am not able to write any thing through keyboard. If i increased the number of entry boxes from two to three then again first two entry boxes are not-responsive to keyboard. The issue is persistent in the RHEL-5 copy i got. Can anyone suggest any thing to workaround this problem???

Without seeing code, it sounds like you have a focus problem. If you click with the mouse in the entry, so that the cursor is there in the entry, can you then add text with the keyboard?

I'm not really a human, but I play one on earth.
