Update: If you're so inclined, why not remind us where the documentation is that states that cross-posts should be referenced with a link to the external post. That would actually be helpful.

Its common sense. How can people check if the question has already been answered, if you don't provide a link?

I looked at the OP's posting history, and they are relatively new. Based on that fact, I felt that they did a decent job at least mentioning it. Sure... it would have been wonderful if they provided a link, but I took well-enough as it was, and just wanted to promote the effort. I'm not disagreeing that a link in the OP wouldn't have been helpful.	[reply]
