perl.org's mailing lists and hotmail.com

bulk88 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

If anyone here has a hotmail.com account or a corporate email account that uses live.com, are you able to subscribe to perl.org mailing lists? If you try to subscribe right now to a perl.org mailing list you are not already subscribed to, does your request go through? I want to know if its just me or everyone has this problem.

I want to know if its just me or everyone has this problem. A description of the problem you are experiencing would be useful: undeliverable mail, subscription refused, etc. -- Ken	[reply]

The question is, if you have a hotmail.com email address or a corporate email system that uses live.com, and you try to subscribe to a perl.org mailing list today or in the last 30 days (May 2012), do you get back the confirmation email from the mailing list server, and second, if you respond to that confirmation email, will you start getting messages from that mailing list? If you want to answer the question, and you dont have a hotmail.com email address, make one. I am not interested in yahoo or gmail or ISP email accounts, only Microsoft based email addresses. edit:corporate email system mention, not just hotmail.com	[reply]
