Haha it worked! Thx so much:D This explains a lot for me:) I do have one other question. The first field of the original file has the names of the columns, is it possible to apply this to the output files aswell? Or in other words, keep the first row in al output files.

So the first row consist of: country_name;region;city;etc;etc;etc

Sure. After opening the file, just print the header before you start printing the countries.	[reply]

Hi! I've been trying al day and i can't get it to work. I know how to print but i can't figure out how to isolate the first line and repeat it in al the output files. (i'm starting to learn how to navigate columns but lines prove to be al little bit more difficult for me.) I hope you can give me advice one more time?	[reply]

In my example, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following: `print {$OUT} "country_name;region;city;etc;etc;etc\n";` [download]	[reply] [d/l]
