in reply to Re^6: foreach my $question (@perlmonks){}
in thread foreach loop not retrieving all data.

But only very slightly better since the actual problem had nothing to do with html or xpath.

Which isn't relevant in the slightest; If the OP knew what the problem was exactly, the OP wouldn't need our help solving it  foreach my $question (@perlmonks){} is crap title x 200 , it has nothing even remotely to do with the question

    The "crap title x 200" made me laugh a lot!!, thanks for that. The reason why I put that title and not something like "foreach loop not looping", was basically that I was trying to be a little bit... I don't know...original?, creative?, funny? Anyhow, the subtle, ironic, hidden, underlaying, metaphoric, subliminal meaning of the title was that everytime I have a question there's a group of experts ready to give a hand to the newbies, and also using a reference (foreach) to the actual problem. But it won't happen again.

    Good work!!

      :) yeah, not exactly proud of that one, it wasn't exactly directed at you , more at that guy, but thanks nonetheless (:

      yeah, early perlmonks used to be full of clever world-play titles like that, and we enjoyed them, but we quickly realized if searching was to be useful, the titles had to be more useful. We know it isn't always possible, but we should try as best we can, especially when we want help (posting to SOPW).

      One of the better examples, from Tutorials: Getting Started with Perl: Documenting Code, formerly under "Tutorials about Specific CPAN Modules", is The Dynamic Duo --or-- Holy Getopt::Long, Pod::UsageMan!

      Its mildly amusing, but still manages to get accross the point that its about Getopt::Long, Pod::Usage

      You can still see funyuns in Meditations because it is more lax about titles, but folks still try to make it topical (add some wrods from the content of meditation)

      If you compare "foreach my $question (@perlmonks){}" against How do I compose an effective node title? you can see your has a few stopwords

      Because you posted in SOPW, we know you're asking us, the perlmonks, a question, so if you remove that you're left with "foreach", which is good, its about loops (loop is generic for foreach) but thats only a single word

      (: more words are better :)
