in thread How to get all combinations

Thats the thing, I installed it through cpanm and it was installed succesfully, then my idiot friend said i should copy some of my directories because i always have to use a use lib, now I have no idea what to do, I cant reinstall since cpanm says its installed yet i dont know where the combinatorics bs and bundle should go and which file the loader in combinatorics.pm. Is there a way to make this all go away? To reinstall this entire thing?

I am asking you to tell me what the XSloader loads, because thats the only error my script still gets, if that cures i restored peace and order to my module directories. Is there anything I can do that might resolve this situation? I am terribly sorry to be so much of a nuisance, I just can't stand it that i got everything perfectly installed and then my friend messes it all up, dont fix things that arent broken. Can i delete a file that makes cpanm think that i havent installed it yet, and then it redoes it? or makes it reinstall somewhere else on my system so I can simply replace my current messed up install?

I am very grateful for your help but i am so afraid of having to see for the second time how i mess up my perl cpan

Sorry, but I've never used cpanm either; from what I understand perlbrew does some kind of mix'n'match with installations; and I seem to recall scanning a post in the last couple of weeks or so that mentioned (as I recall) something about there being problems with perlbrew on Apple.

I'm also not aware if perlbrew comes pre-installed with your OS or if you could safely just delete the whole thing and start over without screwing something else up.

The only suggestion I have is that you post a new top-level SoPW describing your complete system and the problem you are encountering and hope that someone here is familiar enough with your setup to help you sort it out.

Since it is only one module that is not working I think i will install a similair one, the rest works now luckily. Thanks for your help

I don't know about cpanm but with cpan you can do a 'force' install, wich builds, tests and installs even if there is an existing installation of the same version.
