this blog post from June this year make it sound as if you could just install a normal-ish linux distribution in user space on the android device, and that comes with Perl 5. And you can compile Rakudo Perl 6 for it.

    Indeed, but then it is not really running on Android and I already have a tablet that runs under Linux.
