The CPAN offerings in the graphing department (GD and GD::Graph) are ok, but I found better pie charts in some off-CPAN stuff: which is derived from GD as well: GDChart and it's Perl bindings create very nice-looking graphs.

There's also Chart::Plot, which I've found to be pretty good for the kinds of graphics I'm doing (mostly scatterplots and line graphs). And it's simple to use.

Sweeeeet. I'd been putting together a graphing API based on GD, and trying to figure out how to draw pie charts with slices removed/slid out. This looks beautiful.
