in reply to Perl and Windows 7

I have experience w/ both cygwin and AS perl implementations. The transition to Win 7 went without a hitch for all my programs.

Where I've experienced the greatest friction has been with the ability of some modules to work in 64bit versions of perl on any version of Windows.

My verdict? Have no fear of Win7 and perl, but unless you're juggling large ammounts of data in memory, you may wish to stick w/ the 32 bit versions.

To clarify: I use 32 bit perl implementations on 64 bit Win 7.
