I am looking for a program or module to build a concordance. I would like these features:

• HTML creation
• Links within the HTML to a highlighted version of the original text
• Word stemming
• Ability to store the results so they don't have to be recreated often
• Readable, changable code that uses CPAN modules where it makes sense to do so

I have not been able to find concordance tools on CPAN, although there are useful building blocks.

There are many Perl concordance links in Google to look at. I am wondering if anyone here knows of a particular concordance program that meets my needs. Assuming the program doesn't do everything that I need, the most important criterion will be that the program is relatively easy to understand and modify.

The purpose of the concordance program is to provide an efficient way to explore and find information in a large text file. For example, I would like to be able to research all references to "butter" in the Project Gutenberg copy of Moby Dick.
