A windows prn file is a file which contains your data with all the necassary printer commands for a specific printer to mark up your data.

If you use a postscript printer those printer commands will be plain PostScript. If you're looking for a prn file for a ps-printer, i guess you can just convert your pdf document to postscript (pdf2ps) and then rename the postscript file to .prn.

Usually the only distinction between .prn and .ps is that the .prn file cointains three extra lines at the beginning of the file with job information etc., but that'll probably not matter I think.

    - Good luck

Hmmm. This looks promising. Simply renaming a .ps file to a .prn and opening it in Word allows you to examine the file, so the Ghostwriter routine might help us out with these pdf's. Thanks.
