gon770 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello. I am using Win7 64bit. And I just installed PAR Packer and compiled "Hello World" script. It works great on my computer.

However, when I run it on my friends 32bit Windows XP, I am getting an error. Does anyone knows how to make it compatible with Win32 and Win64?

Thanks

Most likely, you run a 64bit Perl on your 64bit machine. PAR::Packer will only package the Perl it is run with.

Most likely, you can remedy the situation by using a 32bit Perl to pack your executable.

Thank you so much. I will install 32bit Perl and try again. Have a good day.
