How to access files kept in remote server (windows)

shshrgpt has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need a perl script through which I can login to a remote windows server using my credentials. For login to that server, server name, login id and password are available. After that I need to get the list of all the files (having a specific name which is known) on a specific directory.

Mount the remote paths as normal, use File::Find to search the paths for files matching your unspecified criteria Super Search is your friend. Questions like this come up fairly regularly.	[reply]
