Sounds like a bug. Confirmed Its always the features that are never tested that don't work :) not tested in bleadperl http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git?a=search&h=HEAD&st=grep&s=%24%3A not tested in in perl 5.6.0 Pod::Text used it way back (but I doubt it really worked even then) but it no longer uses ir or format OUTPUT but not tested 17 years ago in perl-5.000 Maybe it worked in perl-4, who knows, but it was never tested in perl-5, so it should probably be removed from the documentation or deprecated or something	[reply]
