Ajax and scrolling lists

I am testing a page with CGI::Ajax to refresh a scrolling list from another scrolling list

Everything seem to be great with firefox and chrome but I don't know why the launched data in the second scrolling list disappear in the ie8.

The code works between the two scrolling lists: 'Country' and 'State/Province'

I have already updated json in ie8 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976662/en and uninstalled divx package in the ie8 explorer but still the same. Have somebody the same problem?
