Can I set a cookie with an SSL connection and access it in a non-SSL connection?

That is, if I set a cookie for https://www.foo.bar, can I then access the same cookie at http://www.foo.bar?

Yes, you can. One of the cookie attributes is "secure", which ensures that it can only be sent over a secure connection such as SSL. Leave off that attribute and use the same domain and you'll have no problem.	[reply]
