I just thought it was worth mentionning here, as it is quite hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for: if you want to get into a sick (just joking!) person's mind and learn a bunch about Perl, XML and things like SOAP, Web services and .Net, you can read Matt Sergeant's Journal on Use Perl;. Matt's comments are usually really interesting and he probably knows XML and XML-related technologies better that anybody in the Perl community (and he is not paying me to write this ;--). His entry on why people should stp writing modules on top of XML::Parser (dated July 29th) is also excellent (I wished I had realized that when I started developping XML::Twig ;--(
While you are there you can also have a look at other journals and at the rest of Use Perl; of course.
