I'm fairly new to Perl coming from mostly Python. I dabble, I do geospatial. I am sometimes just interested in the stuff that isn't hype or super popular. I have some reasons to learn Perl and I hope they'll pay off. And if they don't, well, I learned some Perl along the way. And that's neat.
