If toolic hasn't had any positive response from the author by now, he's taken the proper approach, and it would be justified to properly take ownership of the module.

Ironically, it was toolic himself (amongst others) who advised me how to do this 5+ years ago in this PerlMonks post prior to me taking one over, so if he hasn't asked for ownership yet, he definitely knows the process ;)

I never meant to imply that toolic's actions weren't justified. However, I thought the parties involved might still want to discuss whether the old maintainer wanted to still play any part. As it turns out, Daniel Yacob wants no part of the module and says he should've deleted it. He also says he'll follow up. Now toolic doesn't need to worry about showing justification to an old maintainer who comes back, because the old maintainer confirmed he isn't interested in coming back to the module.	[reply]

That's great news! I want you to know that I didn't mean to imply that you were implying that toolic wasn't aware of the procedure. I apologize if that's how I came off. What I said was meant for future readers :)	[reply]
