When I initially signed up yesterday I never got an email with my password. I went in today and requested a password reminder and it came through.

I assume that it wouldn't send me the password reminder unless I entered the same email address I registered with, so the email address was correct.

Sounds like something did go wrong sending out the passwords yesterday. Try requesting a password reminder and see if it comes through.
