Use Tk::Tree. It is derived from Tk::Hlist. I used HList for a project, but within a week, I quickly swicthed to Tk::Tree. Tk::Tree is visually more pleasant, and easier for you to manipulate data. I loved it. Also, Tk::Tree inherits all method from Tk::Hlist, so you will it is quite easy to pick up.
