Is there some reason why the nodes down the right hand side of Perlmonks has got a dark blue background today? It makes the text rather hard to read (especially things like "Other Users" which has dark blue text).

I am using the "Blue Web Safe Theme" and NetScape 4.7 This stuff had a white background yesterday and in it still does in Phoeonix and IE. Unfortunately my default machine is so old that NetScape 4.7 is about as fast as it will go.

    < AOL > Me too. < /AOL >

I'm using the normal theme, modified with some of my own CSS markup, and the nodelet colums now appear in the old blue/white style. A quick check of the HTML source reveals: (apologies for (ab)use of code tags)

<!-- Nodelet Break --> <!-- Notes: The structure of the nodelets has changed, and will change mu +ch more soon. Check the CSS nodes being linked to in the head of this document to +see how to address different parts of each nodelet. The fact that th and td have class +es is a kluge to support wonky browsers. Yes, the classes are poorly named; it's all + temporary. Love, Petruchio -->
    So there's the answer.
    cheers

    Is this going out live?
No, Homer, very few cartoons are broadcast live - it's a terrible strain on the animator's wrist

You think that's strange. I clicked on 'Newest Nodes' and got a pop up window asking me to change my password?
