Concurrent_Versions_System? This is a C product. This question has nothing to do with Perl. Regarding installation I suggest you speak to your systems administrator, read the installation notes downloaded with the package or check your systems package management software.

Update: I'm sure if you looked you could find other forums which deal with systems administration and software installation.
