Perl lover girl;

This is in reply to the above post and your other post plz replace this super ugly & damned bad board by a supergood one: take open source [of course].

You keep posting the same question like you assume we didn't read the previous posts. People here are very good at reading all the posts and we are insulted when you repeat yourself. This isn't the type of board where all the posts scroll off the screen into never-never land. I and many others try to read all the questions posted in Seekers-of-Perl-Wisdom (SOPW) so you do not have to post the same question multiple times. If you do not receive a reply to your question it is because we are either thinking about a good answer for you or we are holding are tongue to avoid saying something unkind. (It could be because we don't know the answer but that rarely stops us from offering one.) To answer, again, your questions:

  • You should not use this script as you do not have permission from the site owner.
  • The script has errors and does not work.
  • Do not ask us if your script will rip his site.
  • We do not want to help you rip this persons site.
  • There are better ways to achive what you are trying to do.
  • If you want help on your script show us the input and the output and ask a question about the script.

    You say you want to learn perl; show us that you are putting forth the effort. A little effort on your part will lighten our mood considerably.

    We use HTML tags here, Please add HTML tags to you posts so that we can read them and better answer your questions. We like HTML tags; don't ask us to change that. To post without using HTML tags is considered rude.

    You have posted the same code several times without showing any evidence that you have listened to our replies. You hide behind a cute "little-girl" persona but you ignore our site rules and bash about like an oaf. Then, when you are oh-so-gently chastised you whine in our PerlMonks-Discussion area (PD). You do not seem to be interested in improving your coding skills but only in ripping of someone else's site and posting derogatory comments in PD. Let me be the one to tell you that we are not that type of site. Please choose another topic to discuss. If you want to talk about perl then you are welcome here. If you just want to trade ripping scripts then please take your business elsewhere.
