Suddenly an idea has popped into my head among many other ideas, but this one is an important one! What if we (or possibly one of the directors of perlmonks.org,) decided to hold maybe a weekly chat or so somewhere on the internet, or IRC, or some such, in which users could ask questions in real time (faster than chatterbox,) and especially newer users could ask more questions easily and efficiently. That way we could have a 'Fireside perl user chat' every week on a certain specified day!
I don't know if this is an interesting idea or not, but I was just thinking long and hard for a likely and legitimate idea to be discussed here in the Perl Monks Discussion 'forum' of sorts. Thanks if you have read all the way to the end of this little idea, and if you have any ideas or comments please reply to this message :-) thanks again for listening to this!!
Also if you really think that this was a dumb idea, please let me know (but I beg of you not to downvote my measly amount of xp points :p) by replying to this idea too!! Thanks :)
