Consider a post like this:

What does the colon mean in this line of code?

$foo = $bar ? 42 : 69;

To refuse to answer until the supplicant adds a pointless "use strict" would be silly.

And then there's also the issue that not all the code posted here is in perl. There's C, and shell, and python, and ...
